- Pop the popcorn in a brown paper bag in the microwave oven.
- Put butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda.
- Mix thoroughly and pour over the popcorn in a paper bag.
- Shake well to coat the popcorn evenly.
- Microwave for 90 seconds, then shake well.
- Microwave for another 90 seconds, then shake well.
- Microwave twice for 30 seconds each, shaking well after each.
- Pour into a large bowl and enjoy.
