Delicious waffle pizzas combine crispy waffles with classic pizza flavors, perfect for quick family dinners or kids' snacks with toppings like cheese, olives, and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup semolina flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder, salt, oregano, thyme, pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk and eggs until well blended.
  3. Pour the liquid ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in olive oil.
  4. Spray waffle iron with non-stick spray or Pam.
  5. Spoon 1/2 cup of batter onto the waffle iron.
  6. Spread the batter out evenly.
  7. Close the lid and bake until golden and cooked through.
  8. Serve topped with tomato or pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, olives, onions, mushrooms, or other desired toppings.
  9. Great for kids and quick meals!
