Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup undiluted Carnation milk
  • 1 1/2 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix lightly but thoroughly to blend.
  3. Place in an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake in a moderate 375° oven about 50 minutes.
  5. Let stand about 10 minutes.
  6. Slice to serve.
