Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. finely chopped orange peel
  • 6 medium carrots, thinly sliced on the bias (3 c.)
  • dash of salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter or margarine.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, honey, orange peel, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the sliced carrots and cook uncovered over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until carrots are just tender-crisp.
  4. Stir the mixture occasionally during cooking.
