Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
- Add cold water and vinegar; chill until slightly thickened.
- Spoon half of gelatin into a 5-cup ring mold and chill until set but not firm, about 10 minutes.
- Blend sour cream into the remaining gelatin, then fold in chopped celery and chopped nuts.
- Spoon the mixture over the clear layer in the mold.
- Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
- Unmold and fill the center of the mold with diced fresh fruits.
- Garnish with crisp salad greens.
