Ingredients

  • 1 lb. canned salmon
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Parsley (optional, for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the canned salmon, cream of celery soup, bread crumbs, beaten eggs, chopped onions, and lemon juice.
  3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes or until cooked through and golden on top.
  6. For the sauce, heat the cream of celery soup with 1/2 cup milk and parsley until warm.
  7. Serve the salmon loaf sliced, topped with the warm celery soup sauce.
