Ingredients

  • 1 bunch celery
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • a sprinkle of salt
  • pepper to taste
  • paprika to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the celery and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
  2. Heat butter in a large skillet.
  3. Add the celery, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Cook over high heat, stirring for about 8 minutes until tender.
  5. Add sliced, drained mushrooms (or fresh mushrooms).
  6. If using fresh mushrooms, add a little more butter.
  7. Cook for a couple of minutes longer to sauté the mushrooms.
