Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Measure and sift dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Beat eggs until light, then add milk to the eggs.
  3. Add dry ingredients to the milk and eggs mixture, and beat thoroughly.
  4. Add melted butter to the batter and mix well.
  5. Heat a griddle or skillet and pour batter to form about 16 medium cakes.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set, then flip and cook until golden brown.
