Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 c pancake syrup
  • 1/4 c tart orange marmalade
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 qt popped popcorn
  • 1 c shredded coconut
  • 1 c slivered almonds
  • 1 c chopped dates
  • 1 c raisins

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir in pancake syrup, marmalade, and salt.
  3. Drizzle the mixture over the popped popcorn in a large bowl and toss gently.
  4. Add shredded coconut, slivered almonds, and chopped dates; toss until thoroughly blended.
  5. Pour the mixture into a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 300°F (150°C).
  7. Stir the mixture halfway through baking.
  8. Remove from oven and stir in raisins.
  9. Cool in an airtight container.
