Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can condensed cream of potato soup
  • milk
  • 1 (7 oz.) can minced clams
  • pepper
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Fry the chopped bacon and onion together until the onion is soft.
  2. Prepare the condensed cream of potato soup according to the directions on the can.
  3. Add the minced clams, cooked bacon and onion, and pepper; simmer for 12 minutes.
  4. Serve the chowder with a dab of butter floating in the middle.
