Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

  • 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 to 5 bacon slices, crumbled
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the grated cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  3. Pour in the milk, vegetable oil, and add the slightly beaten egg. Gently stir until just combined; batter will be lumpy.
