Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup sliced stuffed olives
  • 3/4 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 large can mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Place half of the bread cubes in a buttered 3-quart casserole dish.
  2. Layer with mushrooms, sliced stuffed olives, and grated Swiss and sharp Cheddar cheeses.
  3. Add the remaining bread cubes on top.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix with milk and salt.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered bread and cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
