Cocoa Bundt Cake

- Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Generously grease and flour a 12-inch Bundt pan.
- In a large mixer bowl, blend together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add buttermilk, vanilla extract, shortening, and egg to the dry ingredients.
- Beat on low speed for 1 minute, scraping the bowl constantly.
- Increase to high speed and beat for 3 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Remove from pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle with chocolate glaze before serving.
