Ingredients

  • 1 qt. cooked green beans
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. Velveeta cheese
  • bread crumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour cooked green beans into a casserole dish.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add flour and salt to the melted butter, stirring until smooth.
  4. Gradually add milk and heat, stirring until the mixture is creamy.
  5. Add Velveeta cheese and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  6. Pour the cheese sauce over the green beans in the casserole dish.
  7. Optional: sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
