Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 3 oz cold cream cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • filling (jam or marmalade)

Instructions

  1. Cut cream cheese and butter into flour until very fine.
  2. Form the dough into a ball and chill in the refrigerator for two hours.
  3. Roll the chilled dough out on a floured surface.
  4. Cut the dough into 3-inch circles.
  5. Place 1/2 teaspoon of jam or marmalade filling in the center of each circle.
  6. Dip your fingertip in water and wet the edge of each circle.
  7. Fold each circle in half and seal the edges with a fork.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until golden brown.
