Creamy cheese and pecans combine with tangy pickle and savory seasonings to create a flavorful cheese log, perfect for entertaining or snack platters, appealing to cheese lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 3 tsp. grated pickle
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Reserve 1/2 cup of chopped pecans and place on waxed paper.
  2. Thoroughly mix all ingredients except the reserved pecans and shape into an oblong roll.
  3. Roll the cheese log in the remaining pecans to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight for best flavor, or serve immediately.
  5. Serve with crackers.
