Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 pound margarine
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Add red pepper to sifted flour.
  2. Work margarine and grated Cheddar cheese together until well combined.
  3. Work in the flour mixture and Rice Krispies until the dough is formed.
  4. Form the mixture into very small balls.
  5. Place the balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Press each ball flat with the tines of a dipped-flour fork.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
  8. Cool slightly before removing from the pan.
