Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 10 to 12 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger meat and chopped onions in a skillet.
  2. Add tomato sauce, whole tomatoes, oregano, salt, basil, and parsley to the skillet.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 15 minutes.
  4. Add cooked and drained spaghetti to the sauce and mix well.
  5. Pour half of the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  6. Layer Velveeta cheese over the spaghetti in the dish.
  7. Add the remaining spaghetti mixture on top and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes.
