Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the stewed tomatoes and water; bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni; bring to a boil again.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the macaroni is done, stirring once.
  5. Stir in the shredded Cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
