Cheesy Garlic Crisps

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 24 slices party rye bread or 4 (6-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the melted margarine and minced garlic.
  2. If using tortillas, cut them into 6 wedges.
  3. Brush one side of each slice of rye bread or both sides of the tortilla wedges with the margarine mixture.
  4. Place the prepared slices on a baking sheet and bake in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes.
  5. Turn over the slices, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until crisp and brown.
