Ingredients

  • 2 (9 oz.) peaches in lite syrup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 3/4 cup walnut pieces
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 3/4 cup scalded milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups flour
  • 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Drain and chop the peaches.
  2. In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, and cardamom; bring to a boil and reduce heat to thickened consistency.
  3. Add walnut pieces after the mixture has thickened.
