Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1 tablespoon salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water for about 30 minutes or until tender.
  2. Chill the cooked potatoes.
  3. Peel and grate the potatoes.
  4. Combine shredded cheese, milk, and butter in a saucepan.
  5. Cook over low heat until butter and cheese melt, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in chopped onion, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
