Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 24 ounces cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Stir in melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 10-inch spring-form pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add sugar and vanilla, and mix well.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  7. Pour the cream cheese filling over the crust in the pan.
  8. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for about 1 hour or until set.
  9. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating.
  10. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
