Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 10 maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans Hungry Jack refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 12-cup fluted tube pan.
  2. Place brown sugar, cherry halves, chopped nuts, and 1/4 cup melted butter in the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Separate the refrigerated biscuits into 20 individual pieces.
  4. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Dip one side of each biscuit into the remaining melted butter, then into the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  6. Place 10 coated biscuits, coating side down, into the prepared pan, overlapping slightly.
  7. Repeat with the remaining 10 biscuits to form a second layer.
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
