Ingredients

  • 1 quart milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 teaspoons flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups small marshmallows
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 large can evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Scale 1 quart of milk.
  2. Mix sugar, flour, and salt together.
  3. Add beaten eggs to the mixture.
  4. Add this mixture to the milk and cook until it coats a spoon. Remove from heat.
  5. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
  6. Add vanilla extract.
  7. Let the mixture cool.
  8. Add evaporated milk and half and half.
  9. Stir in cherry pie filling and freeze.
