Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 12 oz. package cream cheese
  • 8 oz. container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Break the angel food cake into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Line half of the cake pieces in a pan.
  3. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and cream cheese until well blended.
  4. Add the container of Cool Whip to the mixture and blend thoroughly.
  5. Pour half of the mixture over the angel food cake pieces in the pan.
  6. Add half of the cherries over the mixture.
  7. Repeat with the remaining cake pieces, mixture, and cherries.
  8. Use a spoon to mash it down gently.
  9. Cover and refrigerate until chilled before serving.
