Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and melt butter in an 8x8-inch pan.
  2. Coat the pan with melted butter and pour out excess butter to use later.
  3. Pour cherry pie filling into the prepared pan.
  4. Mix the yellow cake mix and chopped pecans together.
  5. Spread the cake mix and pecan mixture evenly over the cherry filling.
  6. Pour the melted butter over the top of the mixture.
  7. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
