Ingredients

  • 3 (9-inch) baked pie shells
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 large can sour cherries
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. red food coloring
  • 4 bananas

Instructions

  1. Combine crushed pineapple, sour cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and red food coloring in a saucepan.
  2. Cook until the mixture becomes clear and thick, then remove from heat.
  3. Let the filling cool at room temperature.
  4. Add chopped bananas to the cooled filling and stir gently.
  5. Pour the filling into baked pie shells.
  6. Top each pie with whipped cream.
  7. Serve and enjoy.
