  1. Mix the flour, milk, eggs, and a pinch of salt together until well combined.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into boiling chicken broth and cook until they rise and are cooked through.
  3. Remove the dumplings from the broth and drain.
  4. Fry the drained dumplings in butter until heated through and slightly golden.
  5. Optionally, add 1/2 pint sour cream while frying for extra richness.
  6. Serve the dumplings sprinkled with paprika for added flavor and color.
