Ingredients

  • 1 (3 or 4 lb.) chicken
  • 4 ears corn, cut in half
  • 1 quart fresh or frozen creamed corn
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the chicken until tender.
  2. Remove the chicken from the pot and debone, saving the stock.
  3. Bring the stock to a boil again and add the chicken, corn on the cob, and creamed corn.
  4. Cook just until the corn and chicken are tender, being careful not to let the corn stick to the pot.
  5. Remove from heat and serve in bowls with crackers on the side.
