Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, skin removed
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 to 1.5 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: flour, salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  2. Mix water and molasses until well combined.
  3. Dip chicken breasts in the molasses mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
  4. Dip the coated chicken again in the molasses mixture, then in the flour mixture again.
  5. Fry in hot oil until browned on each side.
  6. Place fried chicken on a rack in a baking pan and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
