Juicy chicken breasts wrapped in dried beef, smothered in creamy mushroom-sour cream sauce, baked to tender perfection—ideal for comforting family dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 12 boned and skinned chicken breast halves
  • 2 cans undiluted cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • dried beef slices

Instructions

  1. Make a roll with each chicken breast and wrap dried beef around it.
  2. If one slice of dried beef doesn't go around, use a second slice.
  3. Secure the dried beef with two wooden toothpicks.
  4. Arrange the wrapped chicken breasts in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  5. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream together and pour over the chicken.
  6. Bake uncovered at 280°F (138°C) for 3 hours.
  7. The dish can be assembled ahead, kept refrigerated covered, and reheated before serving.
