Ingredients

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tsp bottled minced garlic
  • 14.5 oz can fat-free chicken broth
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a deep non-stick skillet with a lid.
  2. Add chopped onion and ground beef; cook over high heat until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add chopped green pepper.
  4. Stir in bottled minced garlic.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, add spaghetti sauce, and stir in cooked elbow macaroni.
  6. Mix until well combined.
  7. Cover the skillet and bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat to medium and cook at a gentle boil until macaroni is tender, about 10 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
