Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook and stir chicken, onion, and pepper strips in oil until lightly browned.
  2. Add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
