Absolutely! Substitute the chicken with sautéed vegetables like bell peppers and zucchini, and use vegetable soup instead of cream of chicken. This will create a delicious vegetarian version that still has great flavor and texture.

How can I make this dish spicier?

To add more heat, use a spicier picante sauce or incorporate diced jalapeños into the mixture. You can also sprinkle some cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes on each layer. Adjust the spice level according to your preference!
