Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 4 fresh green onions
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 fresh tomato
  • 1/2 cup parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix 4 cups of flour and mayonnaise to form a dough.
  2. Pat the mixture into a pre-buttered 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish, pressing into the bottom and up the sides.
  3. Prepare the chicken and vegetable filling by combining chopped chicken breasts, chopped green onions, diced fresh tomato, and parsley.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the pastry base.
  5. Top with the remaining pastry mixture, spreading it over the filling.
  6. Brush the top with beaten egg yolk.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until the top is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
