Delightful chicken foldovers feature tender chicken and creamy mushroom filling wrapped in flaky dough, perfect for snacks, parties, or casual dinners with comforting flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine, softened
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can boned chicken
  • 1/2 can mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, flour, and cream cheese until well combined.
  2. Chill the dough mixture in the refrigerator.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
  4. Combine canned chicken and mushroom soup to make the filling.
  5. Gather enough filling with fingertips for each dough round.
  6. Place the filling on each dough round and fold in half to form a pocket.
  7. Seal the edges of each foldover securely.
  8. Prick the top of each foldover with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  9. Sprinkle with paprika for color and flavor.
  10. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
