- Bring the butter, salt, pepper, and chicken broth to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add the sifted flour all at once to the boiled mixture, stirring constantly until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
- Remove from heat and cool for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, beating until smooth and glossy after each addition.
- Mix in cooked chicken.
- Drop teaspoonfuls of the batter into hot fat and fry until golden brown.
