Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stack Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seed

Instructions

  1. Boil the chicken breasts until tender.
  2. Cool the chicken and remove meat off the bones.
  3. Cover the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch pan with the cooked chicken.
  4. Mix sour cream with undiluted cream of chicken soup and spread this mixture over the chicken in the pan.
  5. Crush the Ritz crackers and spread them on top of the casserole.
  6. Melt the margarine and drizzle it over the crushed crackers.
  7. Sprinkle poppy seed over the crackers.
  8. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
