Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts or tenders
  • 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo or kidney beans
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup cavatelli or other small pasta
  • 1 tsp. dried basil or thyme
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian-style stewed tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Rinse chicken and pat dry.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large saucepan, stir together chicken broth, beans, mixed vegetables, onion, pasta, basil, and pepper.
