Ingredients

  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. margarine or butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken pieces

Instructions

  1. Combine vinegar, water, butter and salt; heat until butter melts and salt dissolves.
  2. Keep hot on grill.
  3. Brush chicken on both sides with sauce.
  4. Arrange chicken, bone side down, on grill 5 inches from medium coals.
  5. Brush chicken generously with sauce every 10 to 15 minutes; turn.
  6. Grill until golden brown and tender.
