Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup cubed cooked chicken
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 2.8 ounces French fried onions
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, cooked chicken, and half of the shredded Cheddar cheese.
  3. Spread three-quarters of the mixture in a 2-quart baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the hash brown potatoes evenly over the mixture and press down lightly.
  5. Spread the remaining mixture over the hash browns.
  6. Sprinkle French fried onions, crushed potato chips, and the remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
