Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 Tbsp. dry white wine
  • 1/3 c. cream of chicken soup
  • 1/3 c. half and half
  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves, skinned

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter with olive oil in a heavy large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and thyme; sauté until soft, about 4 minutes.
  3. Add dry white wine and cook until reduced in half.
  4. Add cream of chicken soup and half and half; stir until heated.
  5. Cook the boneless chicken breast halves in the sauce until fully cooked and heated through.
