Chicken Ramen Broth

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/8 cup carrot, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium sized pot on medium-high heat.
  2. Add vegetable oil and onions. Cook for about 2 minutes until onions begin to soften. Add garlic, stir until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add rice wine vinegar and soy sauce; cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add carrots and chicken broth. Allow the broth to simmer together for at least 5 minutes to allow flavors to combine.
