Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 4 tsp. fresh thyme or 2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 3/4 lb. chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp. oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except chicken to make a paste and marinate the chicken for 1 hour.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken, green peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, pineapple, and onion onto 18 small wooden skewers.
  3. Cook the skewers on a barbecue or in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
