Ingredients

  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken gravy
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 (5 oz.) cans boned chicken, diced
  • 1 tsp. dried sage, crushed
  • 2 c. prepared biscuit mix

Instructions

  1. Reserve 2/3 cup of chicken gravy.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the remaining gravy with sliced mushrooms, green olives, and pepper; stir in the diced chicken.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Pour the hot mixture into an 8 or 9-inch round shallow baking dish.
  5. Add crushed sage to the prepared biscuit mix.
  6. Prepare the biscuit dough according to the package directions, using the reserved 2/3 cup gravy as the liquid.
