Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
- Add tomato sauce, water, and chili mix to the meat mixture; stir well.
- Season with salt to taste and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Press 5 to 6 crescent rolls on the bottom of a 9 x 9-inch baking dish with sides.
- Spoon the chili mixture over the crescent rolls.
- Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top of the chili.
- Cover with the remaining crescent rolls.
- Bake according to the crescent roll package instructions until golden brown.
