Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 lb sausage or chicken pieces
  • 1 package chicken noodle soup
  • 1 cup uncooked rice

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage or chicken pieces in a skillet.
  2. Add chopped celery, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper to the skillet.
  3. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a pot with 3 cups of boiling water, skimming off any grease.
  5. Add the chicken noodle soup and uncooked rice to the pot.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
