Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can English peas
  • 16 oz. can French cut beans
  • 16 oz. can water chestnuts
  • 16 oz. can Chinese vegetables without meat
  • 3 medium onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the drained canned vegetables, peas, French cut beans, water chestnuts, and Chinese vegetables in a large bowl.
  2. Add chopped onions and chopped celery to the mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Cover and let stand overnight in the refrigerator.
  6. Serve chilled after it has marinated.
