Ingredients

  • 12 Oreos
  • 8 oz. pkg. cut up dates
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups small marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreos and spread over the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking dish, reserving 1/4 cup for topping.
  2. Bring dates and water to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. Add marshmallows and chopped walnuts to the warm dates; stir until melted and combined.
  4. Cool the date mixture to room temperature, then spread over the Oreo crumbs in the dish.
  5. Whip the whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add vanilla and swirl into the whipped cream.
  6. Spread the whipped cream mixture over the date layer in the dish.
  7. Sprinkle the reserved Oreo crumbs on top.
  8. Garnish with chopped walnuts.
  9. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
